Boil Alert Due to Water Main Repair

On Thursday, May 14, 2015 following a water main repair, the water dropped below pressure.  Therefore,  as a safeguard in accordance to EPA regulations, a BOIL ALERT has been issued for Front Street only  between  May Avenue and Second Street  until Saturday, May 16, at 4:00 p.m..  To ensure safety, please boil your water for a minimum of two minutes.  Please direct questions to the Water Utilities Department at 330.971.8130.

Riverfront Concert Series presented by IROK Inc Kicks Off Inaugural Season with Ribbon Cutting Celebration at Riverfront Square

On May 12, 2015, the Board Members of IROK Inc, along with City of Cuyahoga Falls Officials, the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce, event sponsors, local vendors and charities united for a ribbon cutting celebration at Falls River Square, to kick off the inaugural season of the Riverfront Concert Series presented by IROK Inc.

Mayor Walters Announces Honorary Boulevard Street Naming Award, New Initiative to Recognize Volunteerism

City of Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the Honorary Boulevard Street Naming Award, a new and innovative initiative to pay homage to the people and organizations that selflessly give back to Cuyahoga Falls residents and the city as a whole. He is asking that residents submit letters to City Hall, nominating extraordinary individuals or organizations that deserve to be recognized for their substantial volunteer efforts, time commitments and financial donations that directly impact the betterment of the community.

Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake Police Memorial Service to be Held May 13

The City of Cuyahoga Falls will be hosting the annual Police Memorial Service to pay tribute to fallen officers, on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Police Memorial, located on the Cuyahoga Falls Civic Center Campus. This year, Chief Gene Fawley's name will be inscribed on the memorial wall. The Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake Police Memorial and Honor Guard Foundation is asking the public to show their support for their local law enforcement officers by displaying black and blue ribbons or a police memorial flag during the week.

Riverfront Cruise In Revving Up for 2015 Season

Once again, the Riverfront Cruise In on the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront, is set to kick off on May 11 and will run every Monday night through September 28, from 5:00-8:30 p.m. Riverfront Cruise In, in its ninth season on the Riverfront, is presented by Don Sitts Auto Sales, Inc.

Starting next week, and continuing through the end of September, the Riverfront Cruise In will be back at the Riverfront every Monday from 5 PM to dusk! Stop down each week and view classic cars of the ages!
