Mayor Don Walters Unveils Honorary Boulevard and Names Bob and Harry Heath Inaugural Honorees

On Monday, June 15, 2015, Mayor Don Walters was joined by Congressman Tim Ryan (D-13) to unveil the site location and inaugural honorees for the Honorary Boulevard Street Naming Award. The commemorative site is located in the median on Broad Boulevard, between Third and Fourth Streets. The first honorees are Bob and Harry Heath.

Family members and concerned friends of persons addicted to opiate medications or heroin now have access a new tool in case of an overdose. The administration of the prescription medication Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is saving lives in Ohio by temporarily reversing the effects of an opiate or heroin overdose.

Mayor Walters Announces Senior Watch Program to Address Well-being of Older Adults

Mayor Don Walters is proud to announce the Cuyahoga Falls Senior Watch Program, a new initiative to identify needs and check the well-being of older adults in the city. The City of Cuyahoga Falls remains mindful of our aging population and feels that the Senior Watch Program can provide many benefits, while improving the quality of life for many of our citizens.
