2014 Fall Clean-up Program

Service Director, Eric M. Czetli, announces that Fall Clean-up for ALL City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd and continue through Friday, September 12, 2014. Sanitation collection crews will not be working Monday, September, 1st due to the Labor day holiday.  All customer's collections, including Fall Clean-up, will be delayed one day during the first week of September. Refuse and recycle crews will work Tuesday through Saturday.

Friends of the Oakwood Chapel host their first annual Tea time & Style party

On Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12:00 noon - 2:30 p.m. at Lions' Park Lodge, the Ladies Cemetery Association and Friends of the Oakwood Chapel are hosting their first annual Tea time & Style party. Tickets are $20.00 per person. See flyer for additional information.

City of Cuyahoga Falls Kicks off Energy Efficiency Program for Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Customers

Mayor Don Walters invites all Cuyahoga Falls Electric System customers to attend a kick off press conference for the new Energy Efficiency Program on Wednesday, August 13th from 12:00 – 12:30 pm in the Cuyahoga Room at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium.  The brief meeting will highlight the benefits and parameters of the program.  

All Cuyahoga Falls Electric System customers are welcome.

Energy Efficiency Seminar for Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Commercial and Industrial Electric Customers

The Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) invites commercial and industrial electric customers to attend an energy efficiency seminar on Tuesday, August 26th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the Erie Room at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. 

Community Days at the Zoo Tickets have all been distributed

The City has distributed all tickets to the Cuyahoga Falls Community Days at the Zoo.  Residents who were unable to get tickets through the City should contact the Akron Zoo regarding availability of additional tickets.

The All Kid's Carnival is Here!

*REVISED* Lane Restrictions on Portage Trail Near Riverfront Mall

Eric M. Czetli, Director of Public Service, would like to alert residents and motorists that the lane restrictions on Portage Trail have been rescheduled to Friday, July 25, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  During that time, Portage Trail will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Second Street and the southbound entrance ramp to Route 8.   Work is scheduled to be done in the crosswalk connecting Riverfront Mall on either side of Portage Trail.

Valley Vista Wading Pool Down For Maintenance

Valley Vista wading pool is down for maintenance until approximately 2:00 p.m. today.  Please enjoy our other park wading pools located at the Quirk Cultrual Center, Lion's Park, Linden Park, Indian Mountain Park, and Oak Park.  For further information please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 330-971-8225.
