Natatorium To Cancel Morning Group Fitness Classes January 7th

The Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium will be open at 5:30a on January 7, 2014; however, group fitness classes will be cancelled until Noon.

Mayor's First Tuesday Program Continues

Mayor Don Walters would like to continue the First Tuesday Program which began nineteen years ago where citizens may meet with the Mayor one-on-one to present any concerns or ideas for making Cuyahoga Falls a better place to live.

CFES 2014 AMP Scholarship Program

 Application information for the 2014 American Municipal Power (AMP) Scholarship Program is now available. AMP has established this scholarship program to encourage high school students in member communities to further their education and to create an awareness of careers in the municipal electric utility field.

Mayor Robart’s December First Tuesday is Cancelled

S.R. 8 Southbound Entrance Ramp Closed for Repairs

Valerie Wax Carr, Director of Public Service, would like to alert residents and motorists that beginning on Monday November 18, 2013, the S.R.

Leaf Program Extended

Due to the leaves falling so late this year, the City of Cuyahoga Falls will be extending the leaf pickup program one week.  Residents in the “A” area of leaf pickup will have an additional leaf collection beginning  November 26 and finishing December 4.

Residents can log onto the city website at for specific collection dates in their area.

Any remaining leaves after the end of the leaf program can be put in yard waste bags or tan yard waste carts and will be collected on regular trash day. 

Graham Road Circle CLOSED Oct. 30, 2013

Due to the construction related to the Graham Road widening project, the entrance of Graham Road Circle will be closed all day, Wednesday, October 30, 2013.  A Police Officer will be on site directing traffic.  

Bicentennial Commemorative Books Have Arrived!

The Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial is thrilled to announce that the Cuyahoga Falls Pictorial History Book featuring the 2012 Bicentennial has arrived!  Our residents have anxiously awaited the completion of this book, and we know you will be as pleased as we are, this unique of piece of history was well worth the wait!

Cuyahoga River Restoration Project Update

The healing process of the Cuyahoga River has begun after the long awaited removal of the two downtown low-head dams this summer.  The river is now flowing free and evidence of its changes can already be seen.  The river has a much more natural meandering pattern, ripples and even some white caps leading to open access to the category 4 & 5 white water near the Sheraton.  Most have commented on the beautiful sounds of moving water, the fresh smells and the clear water.
