Trash Service Delayed Balance of the Week for July 4th Holiday

Service Director Valerie Wax Carr announces that Collection crews will not be working Wednesday, July 4, 2012 due to the July 4th holiday. Customers’ collections starting on Wednesday will be delayed one day, beginning Wednesday, for the balance of the week. If you have any questions, you may contact the Sanitation Department directly at (330) 971-8010.

Efficiency Smart to Give Away Free CFLs at Hudson Drive Lowe’s Store Saturday June 16, 2012 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Efficiency Smart, in partnership with the Cuyahoga Falls Electric Department, will be at the Hudson Drive Lowe’s store on June 16, 2012 to give away free compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Customers are encouraged to bring their standard incandescent light bulbs to exchange for free standard CFLs. Only electric customers of theCuyahoga Falls Electric System and other municipal electric systems that participate in Efficiency Smart are eligible. Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10 a.m.

City to Accept Beautification Nominations for Bicentennial Year!

Mayor Don L. Robart has announced that the City of Cuyahoga Falls, in conjunction with our Bicentennial year celebrations, will also be accepting nominations from citizens for the City’s Annual Beautification Awards Program.

Robart and the Bicentennial Executive Committee announce the availability to purchase Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial T-shirts, hats, candles, and cookbooks to proudly help support and promote the City's 200th Birthday in 2012.  The 10-day Bicentennial Celebration is scheduled for Friday, August 3, 2012 through Sunday, August 12, 2012.
