City-Wide Collaboration Between Mayor, Police, Fire, School Districts, Businesses and Hospital Launches Massive Anti-Drug Campaign Against Methamphetamine and Heroin Use

In a widespread collaboration, the Cuyahoga Falls community has come together to launch “Not Me, I’m Drug Free,” an anti-drug campaign that unites the Mayor’s office, Cuyahoga Falls and Woodridge school districts, police department, fire department, community businesses and Western Reserve Hospital in an unprecedented effort to curb drug abuse — especially meth and heroin — in Cuyahoga Falls.

 The “Not Me, I’m Drug Free” campaign is designed to educate Cuyahoga Falls elementary school students about the dangers of using meth and heroin by connecting with them using Facebook, yard signs, posters, T-shirts, incentive cards and much more.

Another Bonus Weekend at Water Works Family Aquatic Center Sat., May 31 and Sun., June 1st

We had so much fun this past weekend at Water Works Family Aquatic Center that we're inviting you to join us THIS weekend too!  The aquatic center will be open from 11a-8p both Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st.  The weather looks to be sunny and warm for a fun day at the pool.  While you're here you and the family will enjoy  a 220 ft.

RFP - Residential Energy Efficiency Program

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is soliciting proposals from qualified providers for the administration of the City of Cuyahoga Falls Residential Energy Efficiency Program.  All such proposals must respond to the "Scope of Services" section of the RFP. Water Works Family Aquatic Center Will Be Open This Weekend!

The weather is looking FANTASTIC this weekend at Water Works Family Aquatic Center!  We'll be open from 11a - 8p all three days (Saturday - Monday) for you to spend your time basking in the sun or lounging in the shade!  You'll also enjoy a 220 ft. zero depth-edge pool, water slides, drop slides, swimming lanes and a lazy river and much more! Get lunch or a snack from our concession stand or bring your own cooler packed with goodies. Either way, your family is sure to have a splashing good time.

Memorial Day Parade

The Cuyaghoga Falls Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday, May 26th at 9am. Beginning at the corner of Portage Trail and Lillis Drive, and continuing east down Portage Trail to Fourth Street, turns left onto Fourth Street to Oakwood Drive, turns left onto Oakwood Drive and concludes at Oakwood Cemetary. The length of the parade route is 1.8 miles. The parade Grand Marshall is Charles Stanfield, and the guest speaker is Eric Mansfield. The Memorial Day Ceremony begins at 11:00am at the veterans section of Oakwood Cemetary.

Sanitation Services Delayed One Day During Memorial Day Holiday

Service Director, Eric M. Czetli announces that Sanitation collection crews will not be working Monday, May 26, 2014 due to the Memorial Day holiday.  All customers’ collections will be delayed one day.  Refuse and recycle crews will work Tuesday through Saturday.  If you have any questions, you may contact the Sanitation Department directly at (330) 971-8010.

Flood Cleanup for Sanitation Customers

Due to Monday night's storm, Mayor Don Walters has announced a Special Flood Cleanup for all Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers. This extra week of bulk cleanup will begin on Monday, May 19th and continue through Friday, May 23rd. Have refuse at the curb on your regular trash pickup day by 7:00 a.m. for collection during this week.

Severe Storm Update - City of Cuyahoga Falls Press Release

            The City of Cuyahoga Falls was one of the hardest hit cities in the area during the severe storm that occurred throughout the evening of May 12th and into the early morning hours of May 13th. Weather reports indicated that the City was deluged with 4 inches of rainfall within a two-hour period, making the storm one of the worst in the City’s history.
