City of Cuyahoga Falls Celebrates Earth Week!

 

Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th, citizens are invited to come and enjoy environmental displays and information, and to bid on a water conserving rain barrel beautifully painted by local artist and resident, Valerie Moirano. 
 
Environmental displays and information for submitting bids on the rain barrel which will also be on display, will be located on the 1st floor of City Hall, 2310 Second Street. To submit bids on the rain barrel through silent auction, please visit City Hall from 8 AM to 5 PM, April 22nd – 26th.  The starting bid will be $60. Bid raises must be in $1 increments.  The winner of the rain barrel silent auction will be notified the week of May 6th.
 
All proceeds from the silent auction of the rain barrel will go back into local water conservation education and outreach programming. This project is being provided through a partnership between the City of Cuyahoga Falls Division of Storm Water, the Summit Soil and Water Conservation District, and Summit County Communities for Clean Storm Water.
