City to Accept Beautification Nominations for Bicentennial Year!

Mayor Don L. Robart has announced that the City of Cuyahoga Falls, in conjunction with our Bicentennial year celebrations, will also be accepting nominations from citizens for the City’s Annual Beautification Awards Program. Anyone interested in nominating a residence or business located within the City should do so by August 3, 2012.

Nominees will be judged on the attractiveness of their landscaping with particular regard to their use of flowers, ornamental trees and shrubbery. The Cuyahoga Falls Tree Board will choose the winners and awards will be distributed by Mayor Don L. Robart in September 2012.

Please help us salute the efforts of those in our community who have done so much to create a positive community image for everyone to see and share. Pictures of nominated sites may be emailed to or sent by mail to: City of Cuyahoga Falls, Attn: Beautification Awards Program, 2310 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. All submitted photos will be verified by a site visit by City personnel. Mailed photographs will not be returned.
