City Offers Free Movies at Falls River Square

For decades, the Downtown Riverfront District in Cuyahoga Falls, known as Falls River Square, has been host to thousands of free festivals and other public events. Flicks on the Falls, presented by Right Hand Management & Productions, Inc. and the City of Cuyahoga Falls will offer FREE movies for families every Thursday night, beginning July 24, 2008. "Yet another fantastic opportunity for our residents to visit a first-class concert venue and watch popular kids' movies such as Ratatouille and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", stated Mayor Robart. "With the state of the economy as well as gas prices, I am pleased to offer a free entertainment option for families staying home this summer".

The movies will run for seven weeks beginning July 24th through September 4th as follows:

July 24 Bee Movie

July 31 The Incredibles

Aug 7 Ratatouille

The event will kick off at 8:00 pm with music and fun for the children, followed by the movie at 9:00 pm. Refreshments and popcorn will be available for purchase.
