Traffic Signal at Northland and Second Streets Changed

The City of Cuyahoga Falls announces a signalization change at the intersection of Northland and Second Streets. The change, based on a traffic study, was determined that the intersection signal did not meet signal warrants set forth in the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (OMUTCD) to justify full operation. Following the Cuyahoga Falls Traffic Committee and City Council approval, the signal has changed from normal "red-yellow-green" operation to a "yellow-only" flash for Second Street and "red-only" flash for Northland Street. New stop signs will be installed on Northland Street.

For more information regarding the signalization change, please contact Ron Sabino of the Technical Service Department at 330-971-8020.
