City Administration Adds Conveniences For Residents

On Monday, November 1, 2004, Mayor Don L. Robart will kick off the eGovernment Initiative, by announcing the availability of the CFOne Card. eGoverment is a new program that will provide residents and businesses centralize online access to City information and services.

The first exciting component of this program is the CFOne Card. The CFOne Card is a picture identification card that permits access to City facilities, services and serves as a resident I.D. The number one benefit through the CFOne Card is the automatic reduction in the number of cards an individual needs to carry. The CFOne Card can be used as a Natatorium Pass, Water Works Family Aquatics Center Pass and as a Resident I.D. The Resident I.D. can be used for proof of residency as required for such City Events as the new Outdoor Ice Rink at Falls River Square and additional services offered by the City as they are announced.

"The CFOne Card is just the beginning of our eGovernment Initiative, which is a city-wide effort to bring all of our services under one roof." stated Mayor Don L. Robart. "As complicated as our lives are, we're excited to streamline procedures in order to continue improving city services with state-of-the-art technology."

Beginning November 1, 2004, any new Natatorium member, (resident or non-resident) will receive the CFOne Card. Possessing a CFOne Card, also allows residents to use this card as a Resident ID. Any existing Natatorium or Water Works Family Aquatic Center pass will still be accepted and can also be used as a Resident ID provided the pass holder is a current resident. Upon renewal of paid membership to the Natatorium or Water Works, a CFOne Card will be issued.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS

The CFOne Card offers special benefit to residents! The new Outdoor Ice Rink at Falls River Square will open on Saturday, November 27, 2004. Admission is FREE to all residents of Cuyahoga Falls. As proof of residency will be required, the CFOne Card is the only pass residents need to provide to show residency. These passes are available now at the Natatorium at NO CHARGE. To obtain the CFOne Card, residents need only to bring proof of residency to the Natatorium Monday through Friday, 5:30am-11:00pm, Saturdays, 6:30am-9:00pm, or Sundays 9:00am-9:00pm. Upon verification of residency, each family member will have their picture taken and receive their own CFOne Card. Current driver's license, utility bill or current Natatorium membership card may also serve as proof of residency for admission to the ice rink.

For more information on obtaining the CFOne Card, contact the Natatorium at 330-971-8080.
