Summer Playground Program

The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department’s summer programming begins the week of June 9.  On June 9, the Tot-Time Program for the 3-6 year-olds and the Summer Park/Playground Program for 7-14 years-olds will open.  These seven-week programs are offered to Cuyahoga Falls residents at no charge in the neighborhood parks. 

The Tot Time Program features learning activities in art, crafts, storytelling, games, exercise, and music and theme days.  Children must be three years old to participate, and an adult must remain during the session and actively participate.  To be part of the Tot Time Program attend one of the sessions in the park closest to where you live.  A birth certificate and proof of residency is required when registering.  The Tot Time schedule for 2014:

Mondays and Wednesdays

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.                        Lions Park

10:45 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.            Indian Mountain Park

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.                        Linden Park

Tuesdays and Thursdays

9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.            Quirk Cultural Center           

10:45 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.            Valley Vista Park

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.                        Oak Park


Fun-filled summer days are offered at each of the 7 Park/Playground Program sites.  Programming includes theme days, park picnics, board games, arts and crafts, ball games, Sno cones, nature exploration, park competitions and more.  Parents need to go to the park closes to their house to register their children. The schedule for the Park/Playground Program is:

Monday-Thursday - 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Friday - 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Keyser Park

Indian Mountain Park

Linden Park

Lions Park

Oak Park

Quirk Cultural Center

Valley Vista Park
