Annual Leaf Pick Up Program Experiencing Delay - update

Valerie Wax Carr, Director of Public Service would like to inform residents that the annual leaf pick up program is underway, but due to the weight and increased volume in leaves this year, the leaf crews are running (3) days behind schedule. However, please continue to rake your leaves to the curb on your scheduled pick up day, as crews are working diligently to catch up. We will also be continuing bulk routes this year, which mean that the crew will first make a pass and pick up the bulk of the leaves (often times in advance to your day), and then return on your scheduled pick up day or shortly thereafter to collect the rest of the leaves. Thank you for your continued cooperation with the City's annual leaf program.
