Cuyahoga Falls Rated Top City In United StatesThursday May 21, 2009
Mayor Don L. Robart of Cuyahoga Falls is pleased to announce the city recognition as one of the top rated cities in the United States according to Relocate America. Relocate America is a leading online relocation resource for consumers who need immediate access to city data.
Relocate America has based their 2009 awards on economic, environmental, education, employment, housing and crime data from the previous year. We pride ourselves on each of the criteria considered by Relocate America, stated Mayor Robart, and we continue working hard to keep Cuyahoga Falls a leader among Ohio cities.
The Development Department applied for this coveted award in March and were just contacted this week with the good news. Knowing that larger cities received notable recognition, we are elated to be selected as one of only three cities in the state of Ohio and moreover, one of only one hundred cities in the nation, stated Susan L. Truby, Director of Development.
Relocate America indicated city selections were based on local government, business development, visionary leadership, housing and green initiatives. Due to the recovering housing market, the editorial team of Relocate America focused their criteria on the outlook for future growth and the ability to rebound in the communities they selected.
