| Wading Pools Open 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at all six wading pools-Lions, Oak, Valley Vista, Quirk, Ind. Mt., and Linden Bring the kids down to cool off this summer in one of the six supervised wading pools for ages 9 years and younger. All six pools are filtered, cholrinated pools. Then come to our Friday Ballroom Dance night, hosted by Anita Converse of The Dancer In You. We'll start each evening with a dance lesson from 7:30 -8:15 pm, each night featuring a different dance. From 8:15 - 10:30 pm enjoy dancing to great music for Swing, Waltz, Cha Cha, Tango, Line Dances, and more! Fee is $10 per person, $6 for college students and seniors with ID. | Ballroom Dance Lessons 06:30 pm - 09:30 pm at Quirk Cultural Center All classes are taught in a progressive format, each series covering one dance for five weeks. To see what dances are being taught that session go to www.dancerinyou.com Singles and couples are welcome, ages teen thru adult. Fee is $10 per person/per class($16 for two classes on the same night) or $16 per couple/per class. Pay at the door, no pre-registering needed. The following classes are being offered with a new session beginning Thursday, August 12-Sept. 2. Beginner Ballroom from 6:30-7:15pm. Intermediate Ballroom from 7:15-7:45pm. | FALLS RIVER CRUISE PONTOON BOAT NEW HOURS 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm at North Pier Boardwalk of Falls River Square Experience the natural beauty of the Cuyahoga River on board the Front Runner and Cuyahoga Cruiser pontoon boats. This 45 minute sightseeing trip features a historical narrative of the river and information on vegetation and forestry along the banks. Travel under five bridges, see the wildlife and enjoy the relaxing and scenic river experience. The dock and boats are handicap accessible. 2010 Summer Schedule: Boats depart hourly daily: August 21- October 3 Saturdays and Sundays only, noon-6:00 p.m. Tickets for each trip are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, to the first 14 people in line prior to departure.
