Can I bring my own skates? Yes. You are permitted to bring your own skates or you may rent them at the skate tent for $3.00 per pair.
Can I wear my boots or street shoes on the ice? All persons must be wearing skates at all times while on the ice, even if assisting young children.
Can I have a birthday party at the Ice Rink? Yes! The Green Room, located on the lower level of the Pavilion is available to small groups (up to 15) for parties. The cost is $85 plus a $50 refundable security deposit and includes two hours in the Green Room, plus admission and rental for 15 people. Catering is available through Bake's Concessions. Can I rent the entire rink? Yes. The Ice Rink is available to rent exclusively for you before or after regular rink hours for only $225. Please call the Development Department for more information at 330.971.8135.
Are there restrooms at the Ice Rink? Yes. Located next to the rink is the Pavilion that houses over 20 indoor public restrooms on the Lower Level, including a family restroom for your use. Skates must be removed prior to exiting the rink area.
What do children need to be admitted to the Ice Rink? Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. In order to receive free admission, children who are residents must present their own CFOne card, which can be obtained free at the Natatorium. Non-resident admission is $3.00 per person.
Is the curfew for Falls River Square in effect during skating season? The curfew will remain in effect, however, individuals under the age of 18 years who are actively participating in ice skating at the Ice Rink at Falls River Square will not be considered in violation of the curfew, (Codified Ordinance 516.02(b)), and are permitted to remain at the Ice Rink until the rink closes at 9:00 pm.
Is there food at the Ice Rink? Yes. Snacks and beverages can be purchased at the concession stand located at the Ice Rink.
I need my skates sharpened. How do I do that? The Ice Rink staff is available and can sharpen your skates for only $5.00 per pair. No appointment is necessary. Skates should be sharpened every season.
Are discounts offered to groups? Yes. Any group of 10 persons or more is only $4.00 per person and includes admission and skate rental. Please contact the Development Department for more information at (330) 971-8135.
