 City of Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the launch of Yes, Cuyahoga Falls, a new comprehensive community engagement website.

LAST CHANCE to Save On Water Works Season Passes

There's still time to save on your Water Works Family Aquatic Center season passes!  Season passes are now on sale at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, AND you can save up to 30% if you purchase before April 30th.  When you purchase your season pass, you will also receive a RecPerks value card good for special discounts and freebies at other Parks and Recreation facilities.

Yard Waste Carts are Now Available

Mayor Don Walters, is pleased to announce the availability of yard waste carts for Cuyahoga Falls sanitation customers again this year. Due to the enormous success of the yard waste cart program last year, 95 gallon tan carts can be used in place of the paper yard waste bags to dispose of yard debris (grass clippings, branches, etc.) but not dirt or rocks.

Easter Egg Hunt at Water Works Park

Join Mayor Don Walters and Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation for the 58th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2pm on Saturday, April 19th at Water Works Park.  (Please note: egg and candy hunt begins at 2 pm SHARP!)  This FREE event will include an egg and candy hunt, visit from the Easter Bunny, and a contest for the Best Decorated Eggs! There are separate hunt areas for children ages 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8; please arrive early and look for signs to locate the appropriate hunt area for your child.

Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Receives National Award for Excellence

The Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) has earned the 2014 Award of Continued Excellence from the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) program. The award recognizes continued commitment to the DEED program and its ideals, including support of research, development and demonstration, improving efficiency, renewable resources, and support of public power.

Cuyahoga Falls Makes Everyday Earth Day

In recognition of the 25th Anniversary of the community’s award-winning residential curbside recycling program, the City of Cuyahoga Falls invites the public to view and enjoy inspirational poster designs at City Hall, created by local second grade students who participated in the 2014 Cuyahoga Falls Makes Every Day Earth Day program.

No Delay in Sanitation Service on Good Friday

The City of Cuyahoga Falls Celebrates National Arbor Day

Give your favorite tree a hug and celebrate National Arbor Day with a Special Tree Planting Ceremony on  Friday, April 25, 2014  4:00 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Library, 2015 Third Street. Mayor Don Walters will be reading a special proclamation, and the Richardson Elementary School 3rd grade contest winners, and Boy Scout Troop 160 will also be part of the program. 

2014 Great American River Day Cleanup & Beautification Project

Join your neighbors and friends and help keep Cuyahoga Falls beautiful and litter free! On Saturday, May 17, 2014 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 pm meet at the Little Stone Shelter in Water Works Park. Volunteers will clean up litter, plant flowers and trees, and pull invasive garlic mustard plants at designated public grounds locations. Lunch will be provided in addition to cleanup supplies. 

Bunny Hop Coming to the Quirk Cultural Center

The Easter Bunny will be hopping by for an eggstra special event on Saturday, April 12th from 11 am-1 pm at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Avenue.  This holiday event includes a keepsake photo, light lunch, crafts, games, and an Easter treat bag! Reservations must be made in advance.  Seating will begin at 10:45 am on a first come basis; those wishing to sit together should arrive together. Space is limited, so register early! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
