Mayor Seeks New Park Board Member

Mayor Don Walters is seeking a new Park Board Member to replace a vacant seat on the Cuyahoga Falls Park Board.

The Cuyahoga Falls Park Board is the overseeing body of the Parks and Recreation Department. The five member board meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Natatorium Community Wing. Potential members' schedule should permit them to attend meetings at that time.

Mayor Seeks New Planning Commission Member

Mayor Don Walters is seeking a new Planning Commission Member to replace a vacant seat on the Cuyahoga Falls Planning Commission.

The Cuyahoga Falls Planning Commission acts as the City's planning commissioner and maintains the City's master plan through the zoning map, land use controls, building/site design, land plotting, and street design and extension.

Adult Recreation Basketball Wednesday Night League Games Cancelled

All Adult Recreation Basketball Wednesday Night League games are cancelled for this evening, January 8, 2014.

Quirk Cultural Center Closures/Cancellations

Quirk Cultural Center will close today, January 6, 2014 at 5pm and reopen January 7, 2014 at 5pm for evening activities.  All day activies have been cancelled.

Natatorium To Cancel Morning Group Fitness Classes January 7th

The Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium will be open at 5:30a on January 7, 2014; however, group fitness classes will be cancelled until Noon.

Mayor's First Tuesday Program Continues

Mayor Don Walters would like to continue the First Tuesday Program which began nineteen years ago where citizens may meet with the Mayor one-on-one to present any concerns or ideas for making Cuyahoga Falls a better place to live.

CFES 2014 AMP Scholarship Program

 Application information for the 2014 American Municipal Power (AMP) Scholarship Program is now available. AMP has established this scholarship program to encourage high school students in member communities to further their education and to create an awareness of careers in the municipal electric utility field.

Mayor Robart’s December First Tuesday is Cancelled

There will be No First Tuesday meeting with Mayor Robart for the month of December.  Thank you and have a great Holiday Season.
