Easter Bunny Coming to Cuyahoga Falls Saturday Despite the Weather!

The 52nd annual Easter Egg Hunt at Water Works Park on Munroe Falls Avenue will take place despite inclement weather as scheduled this Saturday, March 22, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The weather is expected to be cold, but the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance!

Due to the expected inclement weather, a drive-thru candy handout will take place at Water Works Park. All participants will remain in their cars as bagged candy is handed through car windows.

Development Director Susan L. Truby is pleased to announce that the City has unveiled Mayor Don L. Robart's 2007 State of the City Address on the City's website "We are very excited to have this video available to the residents of Cuyahoga Falls," said Mrs. Truby. "This is the first time since the inception of our website that we've been able to provide this feature and, considering how much Cuyahoga Falls has to offer, it is another great tool to show off this great city."

City Sharing March 2008 Winter Storm Photos Online

Residents are encouraged to email their storm photos to Photos will be stored in an online photo gallery for viewing through the rest of the winter season.

Cuyahoga Falls Issues Parking Ban

Mayor Don L. Robart, would like to alert residents and motorists to a citywide parking ban in effect from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 until 8:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008. The parking ban is needed to assist our street crews in clearing off roadways. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and are subject to towing.

Street Parking Ban Still In Effect For Cuyahoga Falls

Mayor Don L. Robart, would like to alert residents and motorists to a citywide parking ban in effect until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2008. Cars parked on the street make it difficult and in some cases impossible to clear the roadways of snow. Police have begun ticketing and towing cars.


The American Red Cross has issued an urgent request for blood donors. Blood supplies are at dangerously low levels.The Northern Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross needs your help.

As of today, the Northern Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross is short 300 pints of blood for its 57 local hospitals throughout 19 northern Ohio counties.

Agreement Reached with State Road Shopping Center Owners

Mayor Don L. Robart is pleased to announce that an agreement in principle has been reached with the owners of the State Road Shopping Center. The City has offered to purchase the State Road Shopping Center for $10,200,000 and State Road Associates has agreed to sell all twenty-nine acres with the exception of six outlot parcels which they will continue to own. Arby's, Burger King, AmTrust and Pizza Hut on State Road and Blockbuster Video and Goodyear on Graham Road will not become part of this acquisition.
