Fall Clean Up

For all Full Service Sanitation Customers on collection days, extra bags of trash and bulk items will be picked up curbside. Please have everything curbside by 7:00 am on collection day. Fall Clean Runs Monday September 10 thru Friday September 14 and Monday September 17 thru Friday September 21

City Selects New Gas Supplier and Locks in New Rate

For up to date information please click hereBeginning November 1, 2007 the City will begin a new contract for the natural gas aggregation program with Direct Energy, offering a one-year fixed rate of $9.854/MCF. The City is also excited to announce there is a Senior Citizen Discount! By calling Direct Energy during the enrollment period, seniors 65-years-of-age or older will receive an additional $0.10/MCF off and pay $9.754/MCF.

Late Payment Penalty Coming For Utilities

Recently the City of Cuyahoga Falls' City Council passed legislation updating our utility billing collection standards. In an effort to keep customer accounts on track, a 10% late payment penalty will go into effect September 1, 2007, in the event the bill is not paid by the due date or not paid in full. Therefore, we strongly encourage that you get all outstanding balances up to date prior to September 1st. Any outstanding balance will receive the 10% penalty for that cycle and if it remains unpaid, the penalty will occur each month.


Mayor's July First Tuesday will be held on Monday July 2, 2007

Due to the impending July 4th holiday schedule, the Mayor's office will be moving the July First Tuesday to Monday July 2, 2007 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. For an appointment, call (330) 971-8200.

FIT KID EXPERIENCE OPENS AT NATATORIUM!

NATATORIUM INTRODUCES THE FIT KID EXPERIENCEA dedication ceremony for the much-anticipated Fit Kid Experience, the new youth fitness program at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium Health and Fitness Center, took place on Tuesday, June 19th at 9:00am. The Natatorium is proud to stay on the cutting edge of health and fitness programming and the Fit Kid Experience is the latest endeavor in continuing to meet the growing fitness needs of our community.

Chart Road Closure Update

CHART ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE



Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio - Valerie Wax Carr, Director of Public Service, would like to alert residents and motorists to the continued improvements on Chart Road between State Road and Keyser Parkway. The roadway will be reduced to one-way traffic for eastbound local motorists only. Local motorists are defined as residents residing on Chart Road within the construction limits. Westbound traffic will be prohibited and need to follow the posted detour of State Road, Steels Corners Road, and Northampton Road. Emergency personnel have been notified.
