Flood Cleanup for Sanitation Customers

Due to Monday night's storm, Mayor Don Walters has announced a Special Flood Cleanup for all Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers. This extra week of bulk cleanup will begin on Monday, May 19th and continue through Friday, May 23rd. Have refuse at the curb on your regular trash pickup day by 7:00 a.m. for collection during this week.

Severe Storm Update - City of Cuyahoga Falls Press Release

            The City of Cuyahoga Falls was one of the hardest hit cities in the area during the severe storm that occurred throughout the evening of May 12th and into the early morning hours of May 13th. Weather reports indicated that the City was deluged with 4 inches of rainfall within a two-hour period, making the storm one of the worst in the City’s history.

Take The Special Little Man to Mom Prom!

Moms, bring that special little man in your life for some Mother’s Day fun on Saturday, May 10 from 7-9 pm at the Quirk Cultural Center! Only a few spots remain!  This exciting event includes dinner, DJ and dancing, a keepsake photograph, a flower for moms, and a special treat bag for the boys! Ages 4 and older. 2014 Spring Clean-up Program

Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce Spring Cleanup for all Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers will begin on Monday, May 5th and continue through Friday, May 16th.  Please place all Springl Clean-Up refuse at the curb on your regular trash pickup day by 7:00 a.m. for collection during those two weeks.

There's still time to save on your Water Works Family Aquatic Center season passes!  Season passes are now on sale at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, AND you can save up to 30% if you purchase before April 30th.  When you purchase your season pass, you will also receive a RecPerks value card good for special discounts and freebies at other Parks and Recreation facilities.

Yard Waste Carts are Now Available

Mayor Don Walters, is pleased to announce the availability of yard waste carts for Cuyahoga Falls sanitation customers again this year. Due to the enormous success of the yard waste cart program last year, 95 gallon tan carts can be used in place of the paper yard waste bags to dispose of yard debris (grass clippings, branches, etc.) but not dirt or rocks.

Easter Egg Hunt at Water Works Park

Join Mayor Don Walters and Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation for the 58th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2pm on Saturday, April 19th at Water Works Park.  (Please note: egg and candy hunt begins at 2 pm SHARP!)  This FREE event will include an egg and candy hunt, visit from the Easter Bunny, and a contest for the Best Decorated Eggs! There are separate hunt areas for children ages 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8; please arrive early and look for signs to locate the appropriate hunt area for your child.

Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Receives National Award for Excellence

The Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) has earned the 2014 Award of Continued Excellence from the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) program. The award recognizes continued commitment to the DEED program and its ideals, including support of research, development and demonstration, improving efficiency, renewable resources, and support of public power.
