PRESS RELEASE - No Forms Required When Filing City Taxes Online

Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don L. Robart announces an enhancement to the Online Income Tax Preparer service available on the City’s website. Residents filing their City income tax online and owe no taxes and have no overpayment, will not have to mail their returns or documentation.

Cuyahoga Falls Issues Citywide Parking Ban

In anticipation of the winter storm, Mayor Don L. Robart  would like to alert residents and motorists to a citywide parking ban in effect starting at 12:00 noon today, December 26, 2012 until 6:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012. The parking ban is needed to assist our street crews in clearing off roadways. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and are subject to towing.

PRESS RELEASE - Sanitation Service Delayed One Day Over Christmas & New Year's Holiday

Service Director Valerie Wax Carr announces that Tuesday through Friday sanitation customers will be delayed one day for both the Christmas (week of December 24th) and New Year's Day (week of December 31st) holidays. Monday customers will be collected on their normal day. If you have any questions, you may contact the Sanitation Department directly at (330) 971-8010.

 

Cuyahoga Falls Electric System 2013 AMP Scholarship Program

Application information for the 2013 American Municipal Power (AMP) Scholarship Program is now available through local High School Guidance Offices. AMP has established this scholarship program to encourage high school students in member communities to further their education and to create an awareness of careers in the municipal electric utility field.

The Cuyahoga Falls Electric System may nominate one candidate for the Lyle B. Wright Scholarship, and one candidate for the Richard H.

Trade a Ticket for a Toys for Tots Donation

Mayor Don L. Robart announces the start of the 5th Annual Trade A Ticket For A Toys For Tots Donation program with the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department this holiday season.  Citizens will have the opportunity to trade a traffic warning for a toy donation to Toys for Tots. 

Bicentennial Fireworks Highlight Opening Day at the Ice Rink at Falls River Square

Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Wedding Day - Wednesday December 12, 2012

Residents of Cuyahoga Falls wishing to get married or renew their wedding vows on 12/12/12 are invited to be a part of our December Bicentennial event. 

The Bicentennial Committee is hosting the 12/12/12 Wedding Day on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Conference Center at the Natatorium, 2345 Fourth Street, Cuyahoga Falls.
