Bicentennial Commemorative Books Have Arrived!

The Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial is thrilled to announce that the Cuyahoga Falls Pictorial History Book featuring the 2012 Bicentennial has arrived!  Our residents have anxiously awaited the completion of this book, and we know you will be as pleased as we are, this unique of piece of history was well worth the wait!

Cuyahoga River Restoration Project Update

The healing process of the Cuyahoga River has begun after the long awaited removal of the two downtown low-head dams this summer.  The river is now flowing free and evidence of its changes can already be seen.  The river has a much more natural meandering pattern, ripples and even some white caps leading to open access to the category 4 & 5 white water near the Sheraton.  Most have commented on the beautiful sounds of moving water, the fresh smells and the clear water.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Display along Portage Trail

October is Breast Cancer Month- and Celtic Club Fights Breast Cancer (Bras Across the Crooked River), an event to help raise breast cancer awareness, is coming to Cuyahoga Falls on Friday, October 18th

Road Closure - Bailey Road at Graham Road

Due to the continuation of water line installation for the Graham Road widening project, please be advised that the intersection of Graham Road and Bailey Road will be closed on October 9, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Road Closure - West Bath Road

Valerie Wax Carr, Director of Public Service, would like to alert residents and motorists to the closure of West Bath Road, from Northampton Road to Keyser Parkway on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Commemorative Book Update & Final Pre-Order Deadline

The Cuyahoga Falls Pictorial History Book featuring the 2012 Bicentennial  will be available for purchase and pick-up in November! The publisher is still able to accept pre-orders (only $37.50/book + the free DVD of Cuyahoga Falls’ 150th & 175th anniversary parades is still available!) up through the end of the business day Friday, October 11.

Cuyahoga Falls Celebrates Public Power Pride Week

Free CFLs and Home Energy Conservation Kits for Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Customers During Public Power Pride Week

The City of Cuyahoga Falls and Efficiency Smart have developed a partnership to help customers of the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System through several energy efficiency initiatives. Efficiency Smart will participate in 2013 Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) Public Power Pride Week activities to help the community promote energy efficiency.

Cuyahoga Falls Annual Leaf Pickup Program

Our Annual Leaf Program will begin on Monday, October 28th and run through Friday, November 22nd.

Trick or Treat in Cuyahoga Falls

Mayor Don L. Robart has announced trick-or-treat hours for the City of Cuyahoga Falls.  Trick or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
