The History & Legacy Committee of the Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial is hosting a Historical House Tour on Saturday, August 4, 2012. For just $10 a person ($15 on day of tour), you will get to tour 10 historic homes and venues in Cuyahoga Falls, most built over 100 years ago! They feature unique woodwork, high ceilings, antique cabinets, rounded door openings and original flooring. Also included in the tour is our Oakwood Chapel , featuring a stained glass window program, and the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society Museum. The Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society will host special hours on Friday, August 3rd from 2-4p to purchase tickets. On August 4th beginning at 9 a.m., residents can also purchase tickets and pick up the program booklet at the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, located at 2083 Cook St., to begin the tour. The houses will be open from 10a-4p and will conclude with an ice cream social, which will begin at 3 pm at our newly restored Keyser Barn! Tickets can be purchased at City Hall, Acme #10 (located at 2226 State Rd.) and Acme #12 (located at 2630 Bailey Rd.)
