Cuyahoga Falls Farmers Market is Open For Business

Mayor Don L. Robart is pleased to announce the Opening Day for the 2012 Farmer’s Market on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. "Dating back to 1931, Cuyahoga Falls has periodically hosted a Farmer’s Market in one form or another", stated Mayor Robart. "We are thrilled to be able to offer home grown products in an urban setting to our residents throughout the summer and fall months".

The Falls Farmer’s Market is taking on a new look this year in a new location. The market will take place in the City’s parking lot at the corner of Oakwood and Third Street, directly across from the Natatorium parking lot.

"This location is more accessible and safer for pedestrians as it is not used by the public as much as other parking areas", commented Susan Truby, Director of Development. "The new location also allows for more vendors to be able to participate".

The Falls Farmer’s Market will take place on Fridays beginning July 6th and will run through mid October.

New this year to the Cuyahoga Falls Market is Trigo, a new bakery in Cuyahoga Falls, as well as new local produce vendors including homemade cupcakes! Each vendor attending has voiced a strong commitment to make the Falls Farmer’s Market the best in the surrounding area.

Market shoppers can expect delectable items to sample including pastries, jellies breads and wonderfully scented candles.
