On 2-6-2012 at approximately 1145 pm a Cuyahoga Falls Police Officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle on State Rd at Broad Blvd for an open container of alcohol in the motor vehicle. Further investigation revealed an active methamphetamine lab in the back of the vehicle. The Cuyahoga Falls Police Narcotics Unit responded to the scene and disassembled the methamphetamine lab. A methamphetamine lab disposal company also responded to the scene and removed the lab components.
Two suspects were arrested as a result of the traffic stop. Both suspects were charged with the same offenses.
Arrested: Mark Teets, 26-year-old male of Neptune Ave in Akron, Ohio.
Mark Teets had recently been released on 1/8/2012 from the Lake Erie
Correctional Institution, where Teets had been incarcerated for

Arrested: Steven Rainey, 39-year-old male of Munroe Rd in Tallmadge, Ohio
Charges: Illegal manufacture of drugs, Ohio Revised Code 2925.04, a
felony of the third degree,
Illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs. Ohio Revised Code 2925.041, a felony of the third degree
Possessing Criminal Tools, Ohio revised Code 2923.24, a felony of the fifth degree
