The Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Committee is Gathering Recipes for a Bicentennial Cookbook

Bicentennial Chairman, Rollie Seguin is pleased to announce The Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Committee is preparing a community cookbook titled “Tasteful Traditions, A Collection of 200 Recipes and Memories”.  This beautiful, padded, 3-ring custom cookbook will feature a collection of 200 recipes divided into 8 recipe categories-from appetizers to desserts and everything in between.  Each recipe will be labeled with the contributor’s name, making it easy to find the recipes of family, friends and various community representatives. It will also include photos, past and present, showcasing our incredible City. All the proceeds will benefit the 2012 Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Celebration.

The help of residents and business owners in contributing recipes will ensure that the cookbook will be a huge success.  If you wish to have a recipe considered for inclusion in this special cookbook, please submit one of your favorites.  Detailed instructions are available by stopping in Utility Billing at City Hall or print off the attached instruction sheet. Please submit your recipe by October 31, 2011 to meet the deadline.

The cookbooks are $15 and will be available in February 2012.  It is sure to be treasured for years to come. Advance sale coupons and gift certificates can be purchased now. For more information call (330) 971-8205.
