Tuesday, October 4th, the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) is partnering with the Cuyahoga Falls Library for the 2011 Public Power Pride Week Energy EXPO. Hosted by the Cuyahoga Falls Library located at 2015 Third Street From 9 AM – 9 PM, the CFES program will feature informational displays and demonstrations on cost-saving energy conservation ideas, services and products. Presentations at 2 PM and at 7 PM by energy experts will highlight helpful strategies to help residents conserve electricity throughout the fall and winter months ahead. Local student energy and electrical projects will also be on display as part of the CFES Energy Ambassadors educational initiative.
Home energy conservation kits will be distributed, one per residential electric customer household, while supplies last. Funding for the 2011 Public Power Pride Week Energy EXPO has been provided through the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant.
