Santa's Reindeer Are Coming To Town

Straight from the North Pole to Cuyahoga Falls, Santa's Reindeer will land at the Ice Rink at Falls River Square on Saturday, December 20th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Complete with horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating and crafts, this is one day not to miss!

"Everyone is feeling the pressure during these difficult economic times and the holiday season puts an even larger strain on our wallets", commented Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don L. Robart, "That's why I'm thrilled to bring a brand-new, free family event to our downtown this holiday season."

In partnership with the Cuyahoga Falls License Bureau and BJ's Wholesale Club, Mayor Robart's Countdown to Christmas event is filled with fun activities the whole family can enjoy. Live reindeer will be located next to the rink for children to visit with and pet. Additionally, horse drawn sleigh rides will be available with a canned good donation to Good Neighbors.

More fun throughout the day takes place with Pat Catan's Craft Centers, who will be in the lower level of the Pavilion making crafts with children. The Ice Rink will be open from 12:00 noon - 9:00 pm that day as well. Admission is free for residents with the CFOne Card. Non-resident admission is $3.00. Skate rental is available for $3.00. For more information on the Ice Rink and other special events, or questions on how to obtain a CFOne card, visit the City's website at or call (330) 971-8135.
