THURSDAY, JUNE 21ST. DOORS OPEN AT 7:30 PM.Nationally respected Olympic Level 4 Boxing Trainer and Clinician Ken Porter of Porter Training Team announced today that six of the Nation's top Olympic team contenders will come to Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront Pavillion June 21st in a warm up to the Olympic Boxing Trials competition. This will certainly be the most exciting and star filled card in recent memory in Ohio.

Raynell Williams: 2007 National Champion, Gold Medalist, USA Boxing Association@ 125# (18 years old. Home: Cleveland, Ohio) Qualified for the Olympic Trials Box Off.



Shawn Porter: 2007 National Champion Golden Gloves and holder of 10 other National titles @ 165#s. (19 years old. Home: Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio). Qualified for the Olympic Trials Box Off.



J'Leon Love: 2007 National Golden Gloves runner up at 165# in a rematch of the Golden Gloves championship bout (19 years old, Detroit, MI) 

Andre Sherard: (18 years old, Milwalkee, WI)  Under 19 National Champion @141#s. Qualified for the Olympic Trials Box Off. 

Louis Arrias: 2006 National Champion @ 152#s. (16 years old, Milwaukee, WI)

Anton Slaughter: Qualified for the Olympic Trials Box Off @ 132 #s. (18 years old, Columbus, OH)

Anthony Tettis: Heavyweight @ 200#. Qualified for the Olympic Trials (Ridgeway, PA)

Dante Moore: 2005 National Champion @ 152#s.

"We are extremely excited that we will have the leading boxers in contention for berths on the USA Olympic Boxing Team, at the upcoming Olympic Trials Box Off coming to compete here to raise awareness and money for training. It is only possible because Northeast Ohio has more talent at a higher level than any other area of the Country," said Ken Porter who has coached dozens of champions and hopefuls.

About Ken Porter: is a Level 4 Olympic Committee Certified Trainer, which is the highest attainable certification of the Olympic Boxing Committee and is a Certified Olympic Boxing Committee Clinician.
