Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Announces Annual Scholarship Program

Application information for the annual American Municipal Power - Ohio (AMP-Ohio) Scholarship Program is now available through local High School Guidance offices. Applicants must be high school seniors who will graduate in the spring and have met all the basic requirements for college or technical school, and have a 3.0 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale.



Interested High School Seniors should contact their Guidance Counselors for application information. Each student must complete the application form and submit it along with a letter of recommendation and transcripts for seven (7) semesters (six semester transcripts with a 7th semester grade card signed by a school official will also be accepted).



Application materials must be submitted by 5 pm Tuesday, January 30th to the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System, 2550 Bailey Road. Students are encouraged to work with their school Guidance Counselors to ensure that application materials are submitted on time for consideration.



AMP-Ohio Scholarship recipients are selected based on grade point average, personal achievements, personal interview and knowledge of public power. For detailed application information, please contact your High School Guidance office or contact the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System at 330-971-8060.
