Cuyahoga Falls Locks in Natural Gas Rate

The City of Cuyahoga Falls has locked in the fixed rate of $11.67/mcf for the 2006-2007 natural gas contract. This is over a 16% decrease from last year's price and the new rate will go into effect with your November bill cycle. Interstate Gas Supply will continue to serve as the aggregation's gas supplier

Those residents already in the program will automatically continue with the 2006-2007 contract. A letter will be mailed to current participants stating the new rate and providing the option to opt-out. Those receiving gas from Dominion East Ohio will automatically be enrolled into the program and extended the same opportunity to opt-out by signing the form included. Residents opting out of the program will not be charged a cancellation fee. Lastly, those coming off other contracts or interested in joining the City's program this fall, may opt-in to the program by calling IGS directly at 1-800-280-4474.

The aggregation program is a voluntary program. All residents may review the PUCO website at for an "apples to apples" comparison of current offers for the Dominion East Ohio customers. Fixed, variable and quarterly options are available, however residents are urged to carefully review all terms and conditions, including cancellation fees.
