Funeral Arrangements For Officer Daniel Crabtree

Mayor Don L. Robart announces the funeral arrangements in honor of the memory, service and sacrifice of Officer Daniel B. Crabtree of the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. Officer Crabtree served with the 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, Ohio National Guard as a Sergeant First Class. The calling hours are scheduled from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday June 16th at the Schermesser Funeral Home located at 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.



The funeral is Saturday June 17th commencing at The Chapel in Green, 1800 Raber Rd with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. The military has asked that attendees to be seated by 1:00 p.m. Officer Crabtree will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery at 3373 Northdale Street in Uniontown.



A funeral procession following the ceremony will start at approximately 3:00 p.m. from The Chapel in Green on Raber Rd. This procession will travel east on Raber Road to Mayfair Rd, north, and then east along Route 619 to the cemetery. Traffic along the route will be controlled by the Summit County Sheriff office. Citizens along the route are encouraged to line the roadway while the procession is passing.



All citizens in Cuyahoga Falls and neighboring communities are asked to show their support of this fallen soldier and Cuyahoga Falls Police Officer by proudly displaying an American Flag.
