Last Two Weeks For City Leaf Program

The final two weeks of leaf pickup of the City's Leaf Program will begin Monday, November 21st for Area 'A' residents and Monday, November 28th for Area 'B' residents. As a reminder, leaves should be raked to the curb in loose piles by 7:00 a.m. on the day of pickup for your street. Log onto www.cityofcf.com or call 330-971-8031 for leaf program pick-up schedules and other details.

PLEASE REMEMBER: DO NOT PARK cars on the street during pickup days. DO NOT RAKE or BLOW leaves into the street. Raking or blowing leaves has caused extreme drainage problems and flooding situations.

Also, please note that our Leaf Bulking Crew may vacuum the majority of your leaves before your scheduled pick up day. On your pick up day, the regular leaf crew will complete a more thorough clean-up of the devil strip or ditch.

After final pickup for your street, only leaves placed in special City Yard Waste bags will be collected by the Sanitation Department on your city trash pickup schedule. City Yard Waste bags can be purchased through the Utility Billing windows (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m.), Hudson Drive Hardware, Marathon Station at Second and Broad Boulevard, ACME #10 on State Road, and Stutzman's on Bailey Road during normal business hours.

If you have any questions, please call the Service Director's Office at 971-8240.
