Funeral Procession For Sgt. Bryan W. Large

Mayor Don L. Robart, requests all citizens of Cuyahoga Falls to honor the memory, service, and sacrifice of Sgt. Bryan W. Large on Monday, October 17th, 2005. Sgt. Large, a native of Cuyahoga Falls and 1992 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, died in Iraq on Monday October 3rd, 2005. A funeral mass is scheduled at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 1905 Portage Trail starting at 11:00 a.m. Sgt. Large will be laid to rest at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park following the service.



Citizens are urged to participate in two separate procession routes designated for arrival to the church and from the church to the cemetery. All citizens are encouraged to bring a hand held flag to raise in honor of Sgt. Large along the procession route. The routes are as followed:



A funeral procession will start at 10:30 a.m. from Redmond Funeral home in Stow on Rt. 59. Entering into Cuyahoga Falls down Front St. to Second St. to Broad Blvd west to State Rd north to Portage Trail east to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.



Following the ceremony at IHM, the funeral procession will depart at approximately 12:30 p.m. This procession will travel west on Portage Trail to State Rd. south, west to Chestnut Blvd. to Chestnut Hill Memorial Park located at 2613 Sackett Ave.



Citizens needing a hand held flag may pick one up at City Hall on Monday October 17th, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the Municipal Building front entrance (off Second St.) near the Utility Billing offices.
