City Announces Utility Bills Can Be Paid Online

Mayor Don L. Robart announces that the residents of Cuyahoga Falls can now pay their utility bills online safely and securely using a credit card via the city website ( They can also view current billing information as well as view previous bills, payment history and utility consumption.

This marks the completion of phase one of the City eGoverment Program known as CFO Cuyahoga Falls Online. CFO provides the residents and businesses of Cuyahoga Falls centralized on-line access to City services. To use this new feature, go to the City website, and click on the "find out more about CFO" link located under the CFO Logo to register.

"Paying utility bills online marks the first of many CFO services that will be brought to the web to assist residents in their busy schedules in addition to improving efficiency within City Hall comments," Mayor Robart.

Utility bills can also be paid by credit card in person in the Utility Billing Department. At this time, VISA or MasterCard can be used for utility bill payment both online and in person. There will be no fees charged by the city for using a credit card. This adds another payment option for utility bills to the already available automatic bank draft, budget billing, check or money order, and cash. Go to the City website under utility billing for more information regarding these payment methods.

The City, with assistance from Berbee Information Networks their IBM Business partner, have laid the groundwork by installing the necessary hardware and software to support not only Utility Bill Pay services, but also future eGov services. The City will be adding other department services to CFO including Parks and Recreation, Building, Income Tax, Police and Planning/Zoning.
