Energy Efficiency Seminar for Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Commercial & Industrial Electric Customers

The Cuyahoga Falls Electric System (CFES) invites commercial and industrial electric customers to attend an energy efficiency seminar on Tuesday, August 26th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the Erie Room at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium.

Festival Review Committee Meeting

The next meeting of the Festival Review Committee is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cuyahoga Room of the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium.

2014 Fall Clean-up Program

Service Director, Eric M. Czetli, announces that Fall Clean-up for ALL City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd and continue through Friday, September 12, 2014. Sanitation collection crews will not be working Monday, September, 1st due to the Labor day holiday.  All customer's collections, including Fall Clean-up, will be delayed one day during the first week of September. Refuse and recycle crews will work Tuesday through Saturday.

Friends of the Oakwood Chapel host their first annual Tea time & Style party

On Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12:00 noon - 2:30 p.m. at Lions' Park Lodge, the Ladies Cemetery Association and Friends of the Oakwood Chapel are hosting their first annual Tea time & Style party. Tickets are $20.00 per person. See flyer for additional information.

2014 Trick-or-Treat in Cuyahoga Falls

The City will be following past practice in scheduling its Halloween events for the last Saturday in October.  This year, that date is Saturday, October 25.  The Halloween Spooktacular will be held from 2-4 p.m. at Keyser Barn, followed by Trick-or-Treat from 6-8 p.m.

As always, trick-or-treaters are reminded of the following safety tips:

1.  Make sure to take a parent with you.
2.  If wearing a mask, make sure you can see clearly.

City of Cuyahoga Falls Kicks off Energy Efficiency Program for Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Customers

Mayor Don Walters invites all Cuyahoga Falls Electric System customers to attend a kick off press conference for the new Energy Efficiency Program on Wednesday, August 13th from 12:00 – 12:30 pm in the Cuyahoga Room at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium.  The brief meeting will highlight the benefits and parameters of the program.  

All Cuyahoga Falls Electric System customers are welcome.

Community Days at the Zoo Tickets have all been distributed

The City has distributed all tickets to the Cuyahoga Falls Community Days at the Zoo.  Residents who were unable to get tickets through the City should contact the Akron Zoo regarding availability of additional tickets.
