The City of Cuyahoga Falls is hiring a Part-Time Worker (Clerical) for the Community Development Department. The City is looking for a professional individual with excellent communication and people skills and the ability to help with a wide variety of clerical duties.
Qualified candidates should be able to answer multiple phone lines and assist residents both over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience taking and/or transcribing meeting notes, filing, and copying. Candidates must possess good organizational skills and be able to multi-task in an environment with frequent interruptions. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher is required. Experience taking reservations or event scheduling is preferred.
Work hours will likely be between the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with a maximum of 25 hours per week. Rate of pay is $12.00/hour.
