Part-Time Worker (Clerical) - Community Development Dept.

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is hiring a Part-Time Worker (Clerical) for the Community Development Department. The City is looking for a professional individual with excellent communication and people skills and the ability to help with a wide variety of clerical duties.

Qualified candidates should be able to answer multiple phone lines and assist residents both over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience taking and/or transcribing meeting notes, filing, and copying. Candidates must possess good organizational skills and be able to multi-task in an environment with frequent interruptions. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher is required. Experience taking reservations or event scheduling is preferred.

Work hours will likely be between the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with a maximum of 25 hours per week. Rate of pay is $12.00/hour.

Lodge Custodian

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is currently accepting applications for part-time Lodge Custodian staff in the Parks and Recreation Department. Applicants must be available weekends, be 21 years of age and physically able to move tables and chairs. Pay is $7.95/hour.

2014 Leaf Pickup Program

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is seeking workers for the Annual Leaf Pickup Program, currently scheduled to run from October 29, 2014 through November 26, 2014.

  • Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Flat rate of $8.75 per hour.
  • Up to $100.00 bonus if criteria met

Qualified applicants must be in good physical condition, able to stand/walk for extended periods, and be able to tolerate all types of weather - including extreme cold and wet conditions.

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is currently accepting applications for lifeguards, water safety instructors, and water fitness instructors at the Natatorium in Cuyahoga Falls.  American Red Cross certification is required for lifeguards.
