Regular Part-Time Laborer (Building & Grounds Maintenance Dept.)

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is accepting applications for the position of Regular Part-Time Laborer, working in the Building & Grounds Maintenance Department. This person will be responsible for performing daily cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the City Municipal Building.

Leaf Pickup Program

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is seeking workers for the Annual Leaf Pickup Program, currently scheduled to run from October 26, 2015 through November 25, 2015.

Part Time Guest Relations Assistant - Natatorium

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is looking for dependable, flexible and hard working individuals to assist with the operations of The Natatorium. The main duties of this position include: serving as a liasion between the customer and multiple departments, being knowledgeable about all programs and services offered within the department, answering phones, filing, registering patrons for programs and memberships, assisting with upkeep of the facility, and enforcing guidelines.

School Crossing Guards

The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department is seeking School Crossing Guards for the 2015-2016 school year.

Applicants must be non-smokers and have reliable transportation. The ability to work in inclement weather is also required. 

Seasonal Workers

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is seeking seasonal workers for various departments. Basic duties include general landscaping and maintenance of City buildings, property and grounds. Some may be assigned to special street-maintenance or weed-whip crews. Several are needed who can work from a ladder.  General custodial and routine maintenance work is required of all.  Successful candidates must demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and the public.

Depending on department assignment, qualifications and previous work experience, rate of pay ranges from $8.10/hour to $9.50/hour. Most positions require a valid driver's license. Some positions require a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and/or CPR or First-Aid Training. 

Qualified applicants must be able to work independently, lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods of time, follow all safety procedures and have the ability to perform physical activity in all types of weather. 

Preference is given to those who have previously worked for the City; students (age 18 or older) are especially encouraged to apply!

The City of Cuyahoga Falls is currently accepting applications for lifeguards, water safety instructors, and water fitness instructors at the Natatorium in Cuyahoga Falls.  American Red Cross certification is required for lifeguards.
