The mission of the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department is to provide the highest quality professional emergency service, fire prevention and life safety education to our community. We resolve to do this within a framework of empathy, compassion and dedication to the citizens we serve, as well as to each other.
The Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department is authorized 84 sworn members who work out of five stations, providing full service fire protection/prevention, and emergency medical/rescue services to the citizens of the beautiful City of Cuyahoga Falls, and as of July 2008, the Village of Silver Lake, Ohio.
A study to determine the most efficient, central location from which to respond to emergency calls resulted in the construction of Station 5 at 3497 Wyoga Lake Road in 2006, reducing overall response time. CFFD continues to seek new ways to serve, protect and educate.
