Mr. Iula worked as the general manager for the All American Soap Box Derby for 35 years. In 2009, he was elected as Councilor-At-Large in Cuyahoga Falls. Earlier this year, he wrote and published "How I Saw It", a pictorial of the Soap Box Derby.
Valerie Wax Carr
Administrative Vice President
Ms. Carr is the Public Service Director of Cuyahoga Falls and has served the City for 16 years. She also is currently the Chairman of the City’s Tree Board. She coordinates many civic, educational, and special events for the City.
Treasurer/Financial Vice President
Mrs. Amburn is the former Payroll Administrator for the City of Cuyahoga Falls where she worked for 21 years. She has also served on the City’s Tree Board. Diane, in the last few weeks, accepted a part-time position working in the Finance Department for the Village of Walton Hills and she recently became a proud new grandma.
Corporate Giving & Development Vice President
Ms. Truby is the Community and Economic Development Director of Cuyahoga Falls, serving the City for over 25 years. She is heavily involved with the promoting and advancing the growth of Cuyahoga Falls through residential and commercial development. Sue also served on the 175th Anniversary Committee in 1987.
Legal Vice President/Historian
Paul is the current Cuyahoga Falls Law Director and has extensive training and interest in historical preservation.
Operations Vice President
Mr. Stewart has lived his entire life in Cuyahoga Falls. For the past 29 years he has worked for the Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department with the last 7 years as the Assistant Superintendent.
Ms. Shoemaker is the owner of Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and an active member of the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce. Marty has plenty of experience in planning an event of this magnitude. She served on the 175th Anniversary Committee in 1987.
